The 2018 legislative session in Washington provides us a real opportunity to pass commonsense gun laws that will save lives in communities across our state. Legislators passed the most comprehensive piece of gun responsibility legislation to date during the 2017 session. Since Governor Inslee signed Law Enforcement and Victim Safety into law earlier this year, we helped elect several gun responsibility champions to the Legislature. The balance of power has shifted in the Senate, but we still need to be a strong presence in Olympia this session to ensure meaningful change happens!
