Heartbroken

unnamed (2)Heartbroken.

That’s the only word to describe how we feel as Seattle has once again been touched by gun violence with yesterday’s tragedy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the shooting, their families, and the entire Seattle Pacific University community.

Please take a moment to click here, and join us with your message of support and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Seattle Pacific community.

We’ll be delivering these to the University community in a week or so.

Let’s show them that the thoughts and prayers of Washington are with them during this difficult time, but more than that, we’re going to continue to do everything in our power to reduce gun violence in Washington State.

We’ve taken to heart the inspiring words of Richard Martinez, who lost his son in the University of California Santa Barbara shooting only two weeks ago: “Too many have died. We should say to ourselves: Not. One. More.”

Thank you,
